I have a rather large doll that my mother gave me. She got it years ago from a cousin who went back to Germany after WWII and collected pieces of molds and were able to put together enough to make the head and hands for this doll.
I was told this was a Hendwerck doll and my great-grandmother was a Handwerck. These cousins offered the doll to family members for about $500 I think. I am looking for anyone who knows anything about this story.
The doll is approximately 24" tall and it looks right from all the pictures I've seen online.
