I research items donated by estates to a charity thrift shop at which I do volunteer work to enhance their sale value.


A doll was donated and I am unable to identify it from the marking on the back of the head in the attached photos taken from different angles.

Since my original post I have made further efforts to read the embossed marking on the back of the head. Below what appears to be the capitalized letter L in a stylized script font is IPMO. Below that is USA and below that is what I believe to be the date 1951.

I have researched the doll identification websites and can find no match for these marks.
