My dolly needs to be adopted!

by Christine

My mother kept this doll which was handed down to her from one of her aunts. Now my mom has died and I am looking for a good home for this baby doll with someone who will love her! I don't want a cent, just a good home! She is an Armand Marseille....that's all I know. xtolou@cox.net

Hi! I would love to adopt your baby. Please consider me as her new mommy. I would gladly love her with all my heart. Please consider me. AYou are quite right about the doll maker. She was made to compete against the Grace Putnam's By-Lo Baby around 1923-1924. Ms. Putnam was commissioned to make a new lifelike babu, one that really looked like a neweek born baby. She went to different orphanages until shew saw ano infant and used that baby's face. She returned a little later to finish, but by then the infant had changed so much that she had to finish by memory. As I stated before, please consider me. joyturbin@gmail.com
