My doll

My wife received this doll from her aunt. I have been looking and looking and cannot find any info on this doll.

Would like to have a price for it so it can be insured. All we know is in Frankfurt the doll needed a ticket to get on the plane.

Age? I have no idea, but it came in a wooden box. any info on this would be quite help full.

The doll was purchased from the person who actually made the doll. They said it was his last doll he was making in that series, or ever. He was a vendor like shop and it was said that after the doll was purchased the maker packed up and was leaving.

The doll itself is hand painted with separate fingers and together. The body is stuffer from lower chest to bottom. The dress materials are tapestry and lace.

Is the doll tagged made in Italy? Le Castellane = Lady of the Manor or castle.

Seems to be a modern porcelain doll with a very elaborate outfit. Does the doll have painted eyes? Or sleep eyes (open & close)? Fingers are separate with fine detail or very little or no detail? All porcelain or stuffed cloth body?

Can you write to the person, who gave the doll as a gift, asking for more details? Purchased in Italy or? Purchased in a gift shop etc.?

Hard to guess much about the doll with only one photo and no actual description of the doll listed.
