Looking for information

I found this doll in a thrift store and would like some information about her.


She is about 16 inches tall and has sleep eyes and an open mouth with teeth. She has jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees.

Her head, body, and hands are composition and her arms,legs and balls in joints are wood. Details on her hands and feet include dimpled knuckles and finger nails and toe nails.

Any information about her would be appreciated.

This is Mary Jane by Effanbee, the only doll they made with a jointed compo body. This doll had, I believe, a human hair wig. The wig on your doll looks like it may be a replacement.

I forgot to mention one other thing about my doll. She has Effanbee written across her back and the back of her head.
