I have been in possession of these dolls since my grandmother passed away. I remember playing with them as a child. The set was larger..12 total I think, but only 7 remain. 1 has lost her legs, but the others are intact.
I have located the phrase "made in Italy" in the back along with 2 roosters facing each other above the phrasing.
The dolls are approx 2-3" tall, they are clothed in dresses with painted faces and feet. They have hair showing under a "kerchef". The eyes, arms and legs all move. The arms and legs are attached inside the body cavity with string.
Can anyone help with these mystery dolls?
