Trying to track down information on bisque Head Doll - On the back of doll it says Germany in cursive and the word Mabel 1210 printed below this.

We assume around 1901 or earlier as a baby sister of my grandmother had this doll and she died in 1901. It was given to baby girl and has been in family for many years.

Please pass along any information you can on this doll and est. value etc.

email is gerry.puckett@murray-ky.net

"Mabel"
by: Toyreviver

Hello! If you haven`t already been enlightened.

Your doll, has most probably, been produced in this way-- the head has been made by Alt. Beck & Gottschalk, Nauendorf, Germany, hence the 1210, for another doll producent Armand Marseilles also Germany.

The exclusion A.M. mark is the American importers wish to be exclusive seller for this doll in America and the name "Mabel " clinches the impression.

Age? 1910 thereafter. This is just a brief explanation. Value? this depends, basically, on demand, size, condition.
