Alexander doll- but which one?

I can not figure out what Madame Alexander doll this is.
It was my Grandmothers but I do not have any further information on it.
Could it be one of the Baby Genius dolls? It is 21.5-22" long. Hardhead, arms, and legs- but cloth body. Beautiful clothes. Has the Alexander stamped on the back of the neck but nothing else I can find.
