Famous People F & B Collection

I have inherited, through the passing of grandparents, a collection of Effanbee Dolls. I have recently went through them and taken some pictures.

I remember my grandmother used to keep them in a glass showcase and I was fascinated by them because they were all famous people. We were never allowed to touch them, just look at them from behind the glass.

Here is a list of the Effanbee Collections I have.

The New World Collection: which consists of Christopher Columbus, Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand.

I have Mark Twain,Babe Ruth, Humphrey Bogart, Sherlock Holmes, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Groucho Marx and Cleopatra.

I have the Legend Series which consists of Fae West and John Wayne.

I also have a presidential Collection which consists of George Washington, Ulysses Grant, Theodore Roosevelt, Lincoln, Richard Nixon, and a few others.

These dolls were on display in the late 80's, but now they are boxed up and put away in the closet. I would love to find out their worth. Please if anyone knows, please comment. I have most of the certificates of authenticity and the original tags and boxes. Some of the clothes have old spots on them. Some I don't have boxes for at all. Looking for more info on them.
