If you have a look on Ebay, you might find them. I listed Alice along with three discs and she sold for £31.00 she doesn't talk think as battery corrosion, but just for the discs really.
So worth a look.
If deal falls through (ie no payment) will relist but stick a note on here too.

Not sure how much she is worth really, so can't really put a price on her (the battery compartment is a little bit messed (looks like an old battery was left in at some point and had a little leak) if you look at the photo you can see.
Really have tried to be as honest as possible as not tried her out but was thinking that the discs would be really useful for someone if they are missing them for their doll.
Hopefully should be listing some more items (dolls included) when next sorted through them.

Hi,
I have just listed my dear old Alice in Wonderland doll on Ebay today. (£14.99). Sad but rather than her sit in another loft for another 30 years or so, thought it better that someone else may get some enjoyment from her.
She does have three of the original discs that came with her but sadly not all her clothes.
Thinking that someone might have a perfect condition doll but missing the discs and this may solve a problem for them and for me.

Hi there, I too have the same Alice doll and am 43.
My sister in England bought it for me as a birthday present when I was about 5 or 6, I think.
The disks have been missing for a number of years now as we moved a few times backwards and forwards from England to Aust. Everything else is in tact though.
It's a real shame as I now have a 15 month old granddaughter and would love to give it to her so she could have the same pleasure I did from her.
If you happen to know where I could get the disks I would be very grateful. Thanks

Palitoy Alice in Wonderland Doll by: Amanda
I retrieved my beloved Alice doll from my parents' house today and gave it to our 4 year old daughter, who's a great fan of the original Alice in Wonderland animation.
I vividly remember this doll being a special Christmas present from my grandparents and she was quite high-tech for her era! She's in pretty good condition, but I only have 2 of the discs - the red one & the black one, which have Christmas songs, nursery rhymes & general phrases.
Sadly I no longer have the disc where Alice recounts her story, but I recall quite distinctly how it goes, as I played it over & over again. I struggled for over 2 hours this evening desperately trying to get the disc player to work and finally succeeded!
The little drive belt which goes around the tiny turntable & around the spindle which drives it was missing, so I improvised with an elastic band and hey presto! Our daughter listened in awe and has fallen equally in love with my Alice doll.
The wonderful thing is that I was also 4 years old, the same age as our daughter, when I got the Alice doll. She was my all-time favorite toy. If anyone knows where I can get the missing disc, I'd love to know :o)
