Rosemary

This doll was given to me by my 82 year old mother. It was her doll as a child. She must have been cherished because she is in marvelous condition for her age. She is beautiful.

She is about 75 or so years old. She has her original wig and her hair is a beautiful shade of brownish red. Her curls are evident and she even has several hairpins. Her lovely blue eyes open and close and she has a pretty smile revealing her delicate teeth.

Rosemary's cheeks are rosy and her dimpled knees are rouged! She is wearing a beautiful blue taffeta and lace dress, cummerbund and matching lace trimmed slip and matching blue panties.

She wears socks and her shoes are marked on the underside with the words "Dolshoe" 18-20 doll with an "L" on the left shoe and an "R" on the right shoe.

I am not sure if this is her original outfit but if it is not it certainly is beautiful and any young girl would aspire to have an outfit like it. I love her but I would like her to have a good home where she could be cared for properly and loved.

My two boys can't do that for her. And she is precious and speaks of an era of gentility and nostalgia.
