Porcelain doll with no identification markers, help please?

Dad went to a garage sale this morning and brought back an old looking doll. Neither of us know anything about dolls, so any help anyone can give us would be appreciated. I have not been able to find any makers marks or anything else on her.

Her head, arms from the elbows to fingers, and legs from knees to toes are all porcelain. The body is fabric stuffed tightly with colored cloth. Her eyes are pained on, not scratched but they have white v-shaped pupils.

Her pine and white striped dress has a single snap closure at the back of her neck. The white pants have a tiny bit of elastic around the waist.

Thank you so much for your response! I didn't expect her to be worth much, but it's nice to know approximate age and such.

reproduction dolls
by: Anonymous

This doll is a reproduction made to look like an antique. They were very popular in the late 1970's through the 1990's and usually sold inexpensively in gift shops especially around the holidays. Most were made in Taiwan and retailed for about $20. to $40.
I hope this helps!
