Bisque head, arms, and legs

I have a bisque head doll, who's body is cloth, well, mostly cloth. She has limbs that are cloth half way down and then the lower half is also bisque.

In other words, her upper arms are cloth like the body, and the lower arm is bisque, same with her legs. She has glass eyes, finely painted features such as her mouth and eye brows.

Her wig is glued on and I believe it is mohair, the color is blonde. She is marked on the base of the bisque head in the back.

The best I can do with seeing the vague mark suggests the letter and number combo of 28L6, or it could be 2846. It's sort of difficult to see and make out the mark.

She is approximately 14 inches in height.

My questions are:
Is this doll German? How old is she approximately? And, I'd like information on a reputable buyer if I would decide to sell her.

Can anyone lend a hand? I would greatly appreciate any help... I don't know where to research this info online since there are thousands of hits for each search I've tried and it's driving me nuts! Thanks!
