Very pretty 18 inch slim waist girl Kestner

Listed in category: Dolls & Bears >Dolls >Antique (Pre-1930) >Bisque >German

Ended: Mar 02, 2010 at 10:04:38 PST

Listed: 1

1 bid

Sold for $125.00 on eBay

I am certain I paid more.......but will never get around to "meeting her needs".

Beautiful face.

Marked only: 7 Made in Germany  (I think a 7 at the end)

Kestner?????

Sleep eyes, shoulderhead on slim waist fashion type leather body.

I don't see any chips or cracks on head......do not have a black light to check more thoroughly.

Her upper arms are wound with Scotch tape ....probably to stop the sawdust leaking.

I think the upper leather will need to be replaced.....but am not going to pull tape away to look.

Although her bisque hands appear to match......one appears to be fully painted......either a replacement or painted maybe.  It is pink.....the other looks "washed".

Her  knees........one will need a few stitches on back to secure a bit more.

I found a new dress to send with her.....and a more recent wig. Slip may be vintage.

A fixer......but simple fixes. I was told she was an "attic find" when I bought her.......
