Here is the third history installment of many doll and doll related online auction sales. Hopefully, many questions about values can be answered here and in the up-coming additions to this website. For those of you planning online auction sales, this may serve as a guide as well. We are also interested in your online selling experience, whether it be VIA online auctions, or just a straight selling web site, perhaps your own website. There is a form below which you can use to tell us about your online selling experience. The following information is important: A good picture, one picture per form only (if you are able to cut and paste several pictures into one picture - that will work) A good description The website it sold on The price it sold for The category it sold in How many bids Was it a “buy it now”? If it was sold on your very own website - include you website URL and we will provide a link from our site to yours - please, it needs to be an antique and collectible doll site. Early glass eye paper mache jointed ankles wrist 18 inch Listed in category: Dolls & Bears >Dolls >Antique (Pre-1930) >Papier-Mache Ended: Mar 02, 2010 08:23:44 PST listed: 1 2 bids Sold for $82.00 on eBay Early glass eye paper mache jointed ankles/wrist 18" Early paper mache with molded hair and jointed wrists / ankles. Not for the perfectionist...... AS IS Photos sharpened to accentuate her flaws.....and she does have them Love her little hands and feet. Stringing is loose ....her arms/hands and feet/ankles. Her ankles are jointed.....as well as her wrists. Approximately 18" tall. Obviously.......she really shows her age on her face and head. Corner mache on one eye is missing so her eye protrudes. The cracks are evident.......the back of her head appears to have had a bit of smooshing. ....but is still stable. Missing some surface layer on back top of hair. "Skin" off tip of her nose. Just look at photos......she has been loved. Molded hair with painted ribbon ........pupiless eyes. She is missing a thumb......and a little finger on the other hand. Her gauze body is very fragile and has some holes......on her back.... where she has been displayed on a stand. One arm has a newer cloth upper arm recover.....which is stable but ugly. She wears a chemise ....or a vintage baby dress?........and slip only.......chemise is old......don't know about the slip. And yet.........she still has a lot of appeal for a doll of the 1800's.........

Thin muslin backing....open at end. Sold as is. There are some areas that need some restitching....... On the back there are some holes that need restitching.....some tears...... It is a project..............but not an overall rag. Pillows? I would just repair it .........and leave intact Colors are good. Three pounds shipping weightHasn't shipping cost become insane?

Does not work. Overall surface rust streaks on bottom. See photo. Approximately 5 1/4" long. 3" high. Really cute displayed with large dolls.

Created as pin cushions I am sure......but I see them as doll pillows. The largest pink is approx. 8 x 9".....counting edge. One ribbon loop at bottom is creased backwards. Blue is 6 x 6". Green is to hang on the wall......with small hard plastic doll inserted at top. I can ship in manila envelope.......to save on costs. I can remember my grandmother crocheted this type while she watched TV in the early 1950's.

I have one laying across the push bars of baby carriage right behind dolls head.............. Lovely vintage or antique pillow.....embroidered with birds and flowers. A pink silky material.....too soft to be taffeta. The pillow appears to be down. Approximately 10 1/2 x 16"....plus lace edge. Overall some light snags......The black embroidered thread outline at bottom of pillow is missing several inches.....see photo. Wait.....I think it may be intended......as it stops at floral design. Overall stains on back.....and heavier on pillow itself. (The cover is not sewn shut.....it can be removed.) Few "almost" holes......small....almost like a run. Small finger tip size hole in lace. I am being picky......it is old.......and has some flaws......no tears or major holes. Displays well. Shipping calculator states 8.00 shipping........if I can ship it for less.....some way.......always refund excess.
