Here is the second history installment for the month of April, for many doll and doll related online auction sales. Hopefully, many questions about values can be answered here and in the up-coming additions to this website. For those of you planning online auction sales, this may serve as a guide as well. We are also interested in your online selling experience, whether it be VIA online auctions, or just a straight selling web site, perhaps your own a website. There is a form below which you can use to tell us about your online selling experience. The following information is important: A good picture, one picture per form only (if you are able to cut and paste several pictures into one picture - that will work) A good description: The website it sold on: The price it sold for: The category it sold in: How many bids: Was it a “buy it now”?: If it was sold on your very own website - include your website URL and we will provide a link from our site to yours - please, it needs to be an antique and collectible doll site. We would love to hear about your online selling experiences, the "I didn't know it was that valuable", or "who would have thought it would go to that country" Would you like to share with other visitors to this page? Item Name: 1960's girl with orange hair original dress & cute baby Listed in category: Dolls & Bears >Dolls >By Material >Vinyl >Vintage (Pre-1970) Ended: April12, 2010 at 09:33:12 PDT Listed: 1 Bid history: 1 bid Sold for: $9.99 on eBay Item description Her dress is worth the auction price........and then there's her flaming hair! She is approximately 18" tall. Unmarked. Wears her original darling nylon organdy dress and panties. Just discovered that some one wrote their name in ink on her stomach under panties. No shoes or socks. She has all of her lashes.....and her fingers. Hair is soft and bright orange. I don't see any missing plugs. I am going to guess......because she has the face that appears to be mashed.......that she is Deluxe. The baby is really cute! Marked only with an A. Approximately 15" ......wears only a flannel diaper. All heavy vinyl. Has all fingers and lashes. There are some faint lines.....perhaps pencil....perhaps pen extending from one eye....in the painted lower lashes.......and pink stains on the tummy. Needs a bath. I don't think it will take too long to remove the stains....ink......from these two with the vaseline treatment. (smear with vaseline and place in sunlight......a week....maybe two.....depending on the darkness of stain. If really dark.....reapply after a week or so). AS IS......AS FOUND

Perfect for hard plastics from the 50's...... Approximately 7 1/2" long......8" waist circumference.......4" across shoulders. Two button back closure. Black with metallic ric rack trim. Ribbon bow at waist barely hanging on. Stored many years.......very light ....must be water stains.....visible but not glaring on skirt. Probably go away with laundering. Would be darling with black Mary Jane shoes. Shipping 2.00 manila envelope

Has all lashes.....and fingers. Dress not original.....just a cover up. Her flannel panties may be original. Plenty of hair.....I don't see any obvious loss of plugs.....Really cute baby. As found.....she can stand a sponge bath......but not dirty. I do refund any excessive overpayment of shipping.

Item Name: vintage bathing suit, shoes, bib, for big dolls Listed in category: Dolls & Bears >Dolls >Clothes & Accessories >Antique & Vintage Ended: April 08, 2010 at 14:05:53 PDT Listed: 1 Bid history: 1 bid Sold for: $6.50 on eBay Item description Lot of vintage baby clothes.....straight from an estate.Late 40's....early 50's. Perfect for huge composition baby dolls or big teddy bears.Late 40's.....early 50's. Seersucker.....little boy's Life Guard sun or swim suit. This would be so cute on a large doll.....Playpal ......or even huge composition baby. Yes, even on a huge bear! Elastic waist in back.....good. Approximately 14" circumference....unstretched. 15" shoulder to hem. There are straps in back which button at shoulders. Approx. 6" across shoulders. Some soil on one strap. Light soiling on bodice front......I have not laundered. Two pair of old baby shoes....worn and loved. Approximately 4" long.......stuff the toes for the big babies. Two pair of knit booties.......or socks.....A dainty bib trimmed with peach. One of those weird sweaters.....sleeves with no front. This has holes overall.......so you would need to whip stitch to repair. All show wear.....but nice cover ups.As found....I have not laundered. Shipping 4.50 manila envelope first class.
